Travel & Accommodation
By Car (or camper)
There's really only one way to get to our house, and you need to go through Raglan.
Drive 5-10 minutes out of Raglan and park on our neighbour's property, the first driveway after 579 Wainui Road. There will be signage on the day.
By Air
Our nearest international airport is Hamilton, where you can fly direct from Sydney or the Gold Coast. Alternatively, fly to Auckland and drive 2 hours to Raglan.
Accommodation
Raglan is full of personality and offers a variety of accommodation options. Here are some ideas to get you started!
Lay of the Land
We live 5-10 minutes out of Raglan town, near the surf breaks. Because of the rural roads, you'll almost always need to drive to get here. If surfing isn't your jam, then we recommend finding somewhere around town to really enjoy Raglan's quirks.
Camping
We welcome people camping on-site!
It's in the flat, lush, mown field next door to us, free to stay and is only a two-minute walk away from the festivities. Just let us know beforehand, or when you RSVP.

Raglan Holiday Park | A great option for big groups and/or young families. It's tucked in the harbour, the shops are super accessible by foot, very close to the best playground (Raglan only has three playgrounds), an epic skatepark and a pumptrack.
Sites from $27, cabins from $47.
Te Koupua Whanau Camp | Peaceful and low-key, just out of town, but you can still walk to town along the beach or the footpath. A large grass parking area with basic amenities. No booking required.
Sites from $10-15.
AirBnB
Since it is February, there are bountiful options on Airbnb.
Below are some tips for where you may want to look:

Raglan | Quirky, original area of Raglan, with the main town/shopping area and wharf. Has one playground.
Raglan West | Older suburban feel, with one cafe and two playgrounds, the airfield, and the main campground. You can walk/bike to town.
Rangitahi | Modern suburban feel since it's a new development. Nice and tidy, and it has a cafe with a little playhouse. A bit harder to walk/bike to town.
Lodging
Solscape is a great option if you want to be near us because it is our direct neighbour, and you can jump over the fence. It's proper hippy vibes, has a cafe, pizza oven and an AMAZING sauna and ice baths (those are open to the public, not just patrons). Some accommodation is even in old train carriages!
Sites from $27, accommodation from $135.
Raglan Sunset Motel is the type of place that you'd think of when you think of a hotel. In the heart of the shopping area.
Rooms from $179.
Raglan Harbour View Hotel is Raglan's main pub, smack bang in the centre of town, and it also has some accommodation upstairs. A bit rundown, could get loud at night, but I'm sure it's full of character, and you'll probably come away with a story to tell.
Rooms from $130.
